Ever present

This plaque was on the forest trail at Wave Hill. I'm not entirely sure what it means, but I like it.

This looked like a great walk. I have been blog-absent for a few days and was happy to come find these shreds of loveliness and mystery. What does that plaque mean?

The rest of the quote appears to be
EVER PRESENT, NEVER TWICE THE SAME/ EVER CHANGING, NEVER LESS THAN WHOLE".

which adds to the luminous mystery. The words evoke a poem from Shakespeare or a Tao of Physics -- I can't decide.

Beautiful.
